In Hawkins, danger lurks in every shadow, and the Mind Flayer’s influence spreads through hidden signals only the sharpest minds can decode. Signal from the Mind Flayer is a Stranger Things–inspired technical challenge where wit, speed, and logic collide. Teams must crack mysterious light transmissions, decode cryptic images, and battle through a high-stakes buzzer quiz.

Rounds and Format

Round 1 (Optional – In case of high registrations): Circuit Breach

• MODE: ONLINE
• Teams are assigned basic circuit-building tasks on Tinkercad (LED blinkers, switches, etc.).
• Build circuits within the given digital platform and time limit.
• Requires a laptop/PC and web browser.
• Submit in Tinkercad project link online.

ROUND 2 The Cryptic Transmission

Part 1: Light Blink Challenge (3 Digital Questions)
Part 2: Cryptic Images (5 Digital Questions)

Round 3 : Connect the Dots

Mode : Offline
Procedure : Participants will be given simple circuit problems related to communication and networking basics, and they must build and demonstrate the working circuit in real time. The team that solves fastest with correct implementation will qualify for the next round.

Round 4: Final Frequency Quiz

Mode: Offline

Procedure:
1.Six finalist teams compete using buzzers/app.
2.Questions are projected digitally.
3. Questions will be based on basic networking and IoT concepts.


Rules and Regulations

• First to buzz gets the chance to answer.
• Team discussion allowed within 10 seconds.
• Negative marking applies where specified.
• No external aid or audience help unless using Power-Ups.
